In small groups you will make your way round some acctivity tables. There will be a time limit at each workstation, but there will be something for everyone, from beginner to our most experienced.
it should be a fun evening whilst learning new skills, and using web covered buttons on your camer.
This aims to be a creative evening, so please bring your cameras, a tripod, and any lenses you wish. If you have any back boxes or lighting effects you may find those useful too.

Mhari-Clare runs flutterby newborn photography, based in Kilmarnock. She is an award winning photographer and business woman.
She is coming to share her story into photography, developing her portraiture skills and journey into her niche in newborn/family photography.
We should all learn some tips for developing our own portraiture shots.
There will be opportunity to try some shots, so bring your camera

Will it be spiders, will it be beasties,or stones on the beach or may be flowers? Come along and find out how to get the best out of your camera. PS, you will need your camera. The place will be announced nearer the time.
Mon 19 Aug 2024 - Club Meeting. Props Night
This will be inside/outside weather dependant. You will be in small groups and given a variety of props to include in your shots. You will need your camera.
Mon 29 Jul 2024 - A A visit up Lyle Hill for views and sunset.
We will meet in the car park at the top of Lyle Hill (By the anchor). it would be great to capture a beautiful sunset from here, but if not there still are some amazing views to be had. You will need your camera.

We will be updating the images in the Vikingar this August. Please bring 5 images taken around Scotland to present to club.
We will decide together on 3 images for display (1 A3and 2 A4 images)

Mon 17 Jun 2024 - Club Meeting. Scavenger Hunt Inddor/Outdoor
This will be a fun night working in groups. Hopefully the night will be nice for you all to go out and take shots of a variety of unusual objects etc. You will not need your camera for this evening as groups will be using your mobile phones.
Mon 3 Jun 2024 - pictures on Seamill Beach
Due to road traffic accident in the West Kilbride area, we will meet at Fairlie beach (Largs end). There is a carpark beside community gardens, Allanton Park Terrace, KA29 0AW.
Very sorry for last minute change but have been informed that traffic is a stand still in both directions.
We will meet in the car park at Seamill Beach and take images with/without props (see pictures for ideas)
You will need your camera/tripod/remote release if have one.
Do not park on road.... Please use carpark to avoid getting parking ticket.
Mon 20 May 2024 - Photographing the interior of St John's Church.
We have been given permission to photograph the interior of St John's Church, Largs. Some of the images taken will be used for record taking and for your own personal memroies, before the builders come in.
Mon 6 May 2024 - .Informal Walkabout at Lochwinoch RSPB Centre
We will meet in the carpark and have a wander around to see what wildlife we can capture. There is a hide and several bird feeding stations. There is also the new boardwalk to saunter along. You will need your camera.

Mon 15 Jan 2024 - Club Night; Shutter speed/aperture. Launch of new project and Black and White Competition.
Please bring your camera with you. Susan and Jim are going to present some workstations looking at Shutter speed and Aperture, to make sure you are making the most of your camera.

For this, we will split into groups, then choose a Project Card which will have a Topic and 4 photographers names who specialise on the Topic.

Mon 4 Dec 2023 - Christmas Night Out, Buena Onda, Largs
Come along for some Festive Fun. We are taking over the resturant for the evening. Delicious food and drink will be served, we will have fun with Ian Bamford's annual quiz and then the big announcement - Who Has Won the Best Photograph of 2023.

Mark was British Underwater Photographer of the year in 2021. British Wide angle category winner and My Backyard category winning image "While You Sleep", a common frog was taken in Malls Mire, Glasgow.
